baby fever?
Every once in a while I get this little twinge that I am really ready to have a baby. I used to just hang out at my brother and SIL's house with my 4 neices and nephews, but even that isnt working any more, I guess I need a dose of something stronger, maybe a day at Chuck E Cheese?
At this time we are definitely not ready for babies. We still want to travel and enjoy our time together before we start having babies.
What do you ladies do to get rid of that kick?
Re: How Do You Ladies Get Rid of....
I take the time to realize when I'm walking/stumbling home from the bar at 1am, when I just grab my car keys and leave the house in 5 minutes, when H and I can take a weekend away, when I'm napping on the couch, that these are all things that I probably wouldn't be able to do much if we had a kid.
I realize that a baby would change everything, and I like the way things are already.
So true!

Perfect advice!
Now, fortunately I made a choice at about the age of 14 and there hasn't been anything happen in my life that's changed that decision.
It's like stopping smoking, something I just won't do again.
I feel for you!! I am in the same situation!
My sister in law just had a baby about a month ago and ever since she started showing, I started thinking about having one of my own. Sometimes, I slap myself out of it when shopping at walmart or going to the mall and seeing parents yell at their children, but then I see my nephew and it all changes.
My FI and I are getting married in May 2010and we have had the discussion of children or not, which we both know that we want children, but the question is when??? I think about having a baby so much that I have talked myself in and out of getting the IUD in case we may want to have a baby in the next 2 years.
SO girl if you find any tricks that work, let me know!
Take a toddler, a kid maybe 18 months old, home for the weekend by yourself. You'll be cured for years.
