Where to get double-sided tape?

On the advice of other Nesters, I'm going to get some double-sided wardrobe tape--like the "Hollywood" brand--to fix a loose slingback for a quick fix before doing some DIY repairs.  Where can I get this stuff in an actual retail store, pref. in Tysons or Arlington?  I don't have enough time to mail order it before the occasion to wear them happens.  Thanks.

Re: Where to get double-sided tape?

  • Target has it in the lingerie section.  I've seen it in Bed, Bath, and Beyond before too, usually at the counter.
    I love my life.

  • The brand for the best type I've used is Hollywood Fashion Tape. I bought some from Victoria's Secret a year or so ago and it lasted a long time.

A word of caution about the type they sell at Target--I tried it and it did work, but it left a sticky residue on my clothes that didn't wash off. I might have had a bad batch, but I probably won't be trying it again.
