I know this seems trivial in the grand scheme of things (especially considering what has recently happened with jewelyn), but MH's company is in the middle of doing layoffs...he survived round 1 yesterday, round 2 is today. I'm not so much concerned about his salary since we can survive on mine, but I don't have benefits. ;(

it's kind of ironic because I sort of work in the medical field and I'm in a super red state - I hear it all day long how people don't want health care reform to pass, yada yada yada. I get that people aren't happy with the bill, but something needs to be done and soon. the most ironic part is most of these people are on medicare - hello, the gov't runs YOUR health care plan.
