Suggestions for restaurants?

My birthday is coming up and I want to go somewhere new..

Where would you spend your hard-earned money in this lovely city of ours?

Re: Suggestions for restaurants?

  • What part of the city?

My favs are Cheesecake Factory, Lewis & Clarks (St. Charles), Trailhead (also St. Charles), and anything on The Hill.

  • I've posted it on here before and got shot down, but I love it anyway: The Drunken Fish.  There are multiple locations depending upon where you are at.  I loooove me some sushi.  AND they have gift certificates on which frequently has discount codes, so you can save some money that way if you don't plan on going on a weekend evening.
  • Oo, I love trying new places :) is a great place to start if you wanted to grab some coupons while you're trying something new :)   There is one Greek place (I think it's called Momos?) in there, um, near U-City area? I found it on that website and loved it!

  • Revival

    Sage (my favorite)

    Forest Park Boat House

    1111 Mississippi

    Sydney Street Cafe

  • Our go-to restaurants for special occasions are Sidney Street Cafe and Vin de Set. Unfortunately, Revival closed. The space has been reopened as Chouteau's at 39th. Food is a little less eclectic as Revival but good and you just can't beat that patio!
