XP: PIP Bathroom Reno, Need Advice!

We are almost done updating our bathroom - but with new oil rubbed bronze fixtures, there is no room on the sink for soap!

My first thought was to put in an extra tall candle holder, and put soap on top of that (obviously not dish soap, this is to show it). But it seems sort of wobbly, and I'm not crazy about the style - this is the only one in the correct height that I could find.

My second thought is to use a sconce - could take this one from my Dining Room -

And put it on this wall. If I use proper anchors, it'd be more secure. But, because of the faux paint, I'm hesitant to put more holes in the wall, in case I don't love a sconce soap holder next year.

I'd be stuck. What do you think?
