what is your recipe again for the floors?  In the article below it said not to use vinegar on wood floors b/c it would strip them but maybe they meant straight vinegar.  I need to clean mine really well and thought I would try your method. Thanks.

Re: sroby

  • I got it from Jessi about a month ago or so.  I mixed in a spray bottle 6oz of vinegar, 6oz of water and 2tbs of olive or veg oil.  I also put in 3-4 drops of cinnamon oil to make it smell better.  I had a bucket of clean water, a mop sponge, a towel and the mixture.  I spray the mixture, wring the mop out so there's barely any water in it, mop, rinse the mop in the bucket then dry the floors with the towel.  I love how clean my floors looked afterwards and it smelled awesome in the house.
  • Oh and I forgot to add, I had a wood floor refinisher guy come out to look at ours and he said that the mixture solution was one of the best things for the floors.

  • Hey your floors look fantastic!  Way better shape than mine. I'm hoping to add a little life to mine with this mixture.  :-)  E
