confession: I did it again

I sent DH off to work with a healthy lunch and healthy snacks, ate a healthy morning snack and a healthy lunch myself, and then proceeded to consume a 200gr chocolate bar this afternoon, by myself Tongue Tied Now I feel like crap, have no desire whatsoever to eat dinner, but still have to cook dinner for DH. I blame my grandmother for being an enabler and providing chocolate, and I blame my hormones for not being able to stop at just one piece. Yuck, I feel awful!

Re: confession: I did it again

  • Any left over chocolate?  Send it my way!  I so feel your pain, I was hoping that being back at work would cure my munchie habit and it seems to while I am there but I am making up for lost time once I get home.

    Good luck with dinner!

  • I'm laughing and feeling sorry you at the same time. Drink water to try to balance out the sugar? I hear you on the trouble stopping. There's nothing wrong with eating an entire sleeve of crackers in one sitting, immediately after dinner, is there?

  • The next question is, do I 'fess up to DH? I would love for him to commiserate, but I'm not so sure he will... Right now all I feel like doing is curling up in a ball on the couch and feeling sorry for myself....
  • nah I probably wouldn't fess up to dh

I'd just cook dinner for him & only eat a little bit saying you aren't that hungry:)

lucky 4 me, my DH is just as bad as i am w/chocolate and lack of self-control! cookies, on the otherhand, i would stay in the closet about.'

once the baby is out (soon) it won't matter- you will be burning calories left & right. consider yourself to be loading up for the big day ;-)

  • Clearly, the baby had a craving. She is a girl, after all. You're eating chocolate for two!
  • I always confess too! Go ahead and eat dinner, and get some good phytochemicals in you to balance it out.
