Do you have individual health insurance?

Hey there!  My DH and I will be moving to AZ this fall and will probably need to buy our own health insurance. I'm just trying to get a feel for some companies to look into - right now we have Blue Cross of Minnesota. I know Blue Cross is in AZ as well, but I don't know if it is necessarily the best deal.

If you have your own individual health insurance (not through your company) what company do you go through?  What type of plan is it?  (ie catastrophic, full coverage, etc) How much is it per month? Lastly, how did you go about finding your plan?

Re: Do you have individual health insurance?

  • When I was between jobs I paid monthly for Blue Cross.. this was a while back so I am not sure of details. DH just recently had United through online while he was waiting for his company insurance to kick in. It was 80/month but I high deductible if I remember correctly.
