WIJFR: Open Road Summer by Emery Lord

Sooo, I did not like this very much. It was just okay for me. It felt predictable. I didn't feel connected to the characters. I also don't care for Taylor Swift and one of the MCs was basically her, without as many boyfriends. I found that at about the halfway mark, I really didn't even care whether I finished it. I really wanted to like this one too, especially since I paid almost $10 for the e-book.

  • I didn't like this one either. Luckily I got it from the library. It took two different tries to even finish it. I hated the MC which I'm sure was a big part of the problem.

  • Bummer, I really enjoyed it!  I knew it was predictable, but I think that's what I was in the mood for.  Something light, not deep, and flirty.  I thought it fit the bill.

  • Heh. I'm reading this now and loving it. I also have no love lost for Taylor Swift.

  • It irritates me that I didn't like it! I really wanted to. I have been in a bit of slump though lately. I am reading The Invention of Wings now, but think I may do a HP reread to unslump myself.

Yeah, I am finding it kind of boring so far too.
