Massage

I was given a gift certificate for a massage for Christmas. I went for the massage yesterday. The masseuse rubbed my privates gently and then said she could not go any further. I didn't mention it to my wife as she would probably get upset. Would you get upset if your s/o received a happy ending during a massage?

  • Unquestionably cheating. Duh.

  • Um, sounds like you went to a rub and tug instead of a registered massage therapist.  Of course I would be upset if my FI went to one!  And I would also be extremely upset if I was receiving a massage and all of a sudden she touched my genitals...

  • I was surprised when she did what she did. She also quickly stopped. The place was not a seedy rub and tug joint...I went to one of those in Atlantic City during a bachelor party weekend prior to meeting my wife. This place was clean and the masseuse was a older woman who was also very nice.

  • Ohh fine line. When I was pregnant I went to a massage therapist who was certified in midwifery as well. She also had 4 kids of her own and was a surrogate to two. I was complaining of sciatic nerve pain and she warned me before she did what she did but she put one of her thumbs in the hallow of the outside of my hip bone and pressed three fingers right in the crease between my privates and my inner thigh. It was instant relief. I tried to show my DH how to do it so that when I started to get pain again he could fix it. He never blinked an eye at possible inappropriate contact from the masseuse.

I think it really depends on the context of the situation. If my husband were in pain and their were a pressure point in a similar area I would not be mad. But, there is a difference between corrective massage therapy and a recreational relaxation massage.

  • In a monogamous relationship, a "happy ending" is definitely cheating! Come on now!

  • Most massage salons are on the level.  It's the "day spas" that carry all the nonsense, hookery and more than happy endings, out here in this neck of the woods.
