Honest Question

So this is kind of a weird question, my dh and I had sex before we got married and he always pulled out. I begged him several times to just go in me but he would never do it. I like other post have been on birth control for several years. He pulled out for the longest time even through the first few months of our marriage. I stopped taking my birth control at the beginning of November and he started going in me because we are TTC. Everyone one told me that when a guy goes in you, it is so much better. I honestly don't feel any different other than a surge of fluid in my vagina then if he pulls out. Is there something wrong with me or is this normal?

Re: Honest Question

  • I am not an expert but I would say that is is normal as long as you and your husband are enjoying sex itself. Everyone likes and dislikes different things. Some women may think that is one of the best parts where others couldn't care less about whether or not the man releases himself inside of you.
  • Well, it's less messy than pulling out. But feeling any different/better... meh? And what the hell does it even matter if your friends go crazy for something and you don't?

Could you please be an adult and be more age-specific?

"I begged him several times to ejaculate while inside me but he would not do it."

This is a psychological thing he's got going on. I suggest a sex therapist.  He's either doing this out of habit or something else is going on.  Either way, he needs professional help.  And so do you; it's likely you both have a fear of unwanted pregnancy.

  • I have never heard of it feeling good/pleasing for the woman when the man ejaculates inside of her vagina.  For me, it just feels extra wet, that's it.

I second this. I'm not sure what the people you talked to were talking about.
  • I can feel his penis throb and expand when he goes inside. Yes, I like it more.

  • Seamen actually has an impact on a woman's mood. I saw a special on it a few years ago on discovery health that explained women are in better moods when they get a regular dose. A lot of other stuff about how seamen benefits us too, but I remember thinking "yeah right"... until my mirena needed to be replaced last year. I'd been having Unprotected sex with dh for 5 years and getting my regular dose, but we didn't have insurance and couldn't afford to get a new mirena right away. So we had to use condoms for a couple of months and I was a monster.

Here's one article, but you can find a bunch if you Google it.

For me it's the same as this PP, but I'm sure it depends on the person.

It sounds like there's something that's preventing him from completely letting go. You may want to ask him about it (not in the bedroom, of course).

I was thinking the same thing. At least with a condom all the fluids are contained.
OP, is there any chance your H could be anxious about having kids? Maybe you guys need to have another talk about TTC.

  • 1. It's ejaculate, not "go"

    2. It's semen, not seamen. Seamen are sailors

    3. I'd ask "everyone" what this "different" feeling is and why it's so great.

    4. You're perfectly normal. This is nothing to stress about

You beat me to this. When someone spells it seamen all I can think of is really attractive sailors hanging around. That would definitely affect my mood positively

Did you hear about the Admiral's daughter? Her navel base was filled with discharged seamen................

Sorry that is a terrible old joke but it sort of fit the circumstances

  • For me the last few seconds before my husband "goes" are the best. I can't explain exactly why but it's to do with the fact that he is not holding back anymore and losing control. Even when we are having a quickie and really going for it all the way through I have never got that feeling except right at the end. I think if he was pulling out we would lose that.

As for the actual ejaculation, I usually don't feel anything and would honestly rather do without the mess.
