Thanksgiving

What was on your plate?
Anything new/different/bizarre?

Re: Thanksgiving

  • I made that super easy cranberry sauce that was posted.  It was delish!!

  • I also made that cranberry sauce.  It was easy and good.  We hosted, and all went well.  Nothing out of the ordinary on our table; at least I didn't think :)

  • We went to one of John's grad school professor's country home. It was awesome, small, so much food. Formal, without being stuffy, we each had a place card and a menu, including Brooks, he was so excited to see his name.

  • Our Thanksgiving is very casual and laidback.  It's at H's aunt's house, which is minutes away from us.  The menu isn't much to write home about.  I've yet to make my Thanksgiving redo, but if I ever get a free weekend day, I will do just that.

I offer to bring a side every year but am always assigned a dessert.  This year I made a twix trifle.  It was amazing :)
