Who had a great DJ at their wedding?

That is not Sean Denard. I used him for my wedding and I love him, but he is booked. My friend is getting married 5/2 and he waited till the last minute, so now I am trying to help him. Thanks in advance!!

Re: Who had a great DJ at their wedding?

  • I liked what our dj played, but I wanted to strangle him every time he opened his mouth. So I would recommend ours if you give strict instructions on what the dj was or was not supposed to say.

  • oh and i realize that sounds a little harsh, so maybe i should give some examples.

dj reminded ppl to tip their waiters. however, gratuity was already included in what we paid to the venue and they specifically did not want us tipping more.

dj gave microphone to best man and moh for speeches and said they we could pass it around for others who had something to say. because of this, my boss ended up giving a speech that i didn't like. i wouldn't want the option for anyone to get up and speak.

  • I loved our DJ.  We got married this past July.  He met with us and really got our personalities and also changed things up the day of depending on what he saw the crowd appreciating (which is what we asked him to do).  We really trusted him.  One of our guests went up to him during the night and told him how awesome he was and he told them that he was so happy to hear it because he had gotten to know us so well he really wanted to do a great job for us.  He was so sweet.

  • I loved our DJ. We used Bella Musia, a husband and wife team that were great. The husband Ben was in charge of playing the Music and Jessica was the one on the Mic and helping to make sure that everything flowed smoothly. I felt that they wen't above and beyond for a DJ and Jessica helped to coordinate as well. The were also very in expensive. The website is www.bellamusica.com.

  • I loved our DJ. Austin Beaver of Nitelite Entertainment. www.niteliteent.com

He was not the cheapest DJ out there but he was awesome and kept everyone on the dance floor. We had a ball!

  • We also used DJ Moose, but didn't have any problems with him. (That I remember anyway!)

  • Consider yourself lucky that Sean is booked! We had him DJ our wedding last Saturday and he was HORRIBLE.  We ended up ending our wedding early because he kept playing songs on our do-not play list and clearing the dance floor.
