Has anyone read "The Omnivore's Dilemma"

It's written by Michael Pollan, who is about to release, In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto. I am considering pre-ordering this book, but haven't read his other works. Is his writing style more narrative or text-book-academic?

Re: Has anyone read "The Omnivore's Dilemma"

  • I am about 1/2 way through it.  It's more interesting than your typical text book, though I still have to take breaks from it for more light hearted material.  (I like to blame mommy/preggo brain)
