Do you think its reasonable

to spend almost ?80 on one videogame and a guide book? DH bought Halo Wars and the book to go with it. He seems to be enjoying it. I think he's flipping crazy.

Re: Do you think its reasonable

  • I have no idea.  I would have guessed videogames are expensive, so to me that seems about what I would expect.   I guess if he gets a lot of use out of it?  We gave up our gaming at classic nintendo circa 1992 so I have no idea!
  • Hmmm, for me personally no - but hey, it's his hobby, so yeah totally. I would hazard a guess that loads of people wouldn't spend what I do on some things.

Whatever keeps the economy going and isn't hurting anyone, then it's all good!

  • Since my husband is in the video game industry (or was in the UK) I would say that is normal...reasonable is a different issue :) We have every video game there is I swear but we get it for free, luckily!

  • We've got around 60 xbox 360 games, almost 20 ps3 games, countless games for the nintendo ds, and he's talking about getting a wii soon. He knows we've both got dentist appointments soon so we can't spend much in the way of entertainment. I give him the side eye.
