Christening gifts

We are christening DS next weekend. Do I need to get something for the godparents (my bro and sis)? If so, any suggestions?

How about a nice frame, something that says godfather/godmother? You can a send them a picture from the christening to put inside it.

  • I have never received a gift for the Baptism as a god parent, obviously I gave to each of them.  My god children remember me at Christmas and my Birthday each year, and I do the same for them.

This is what my sister gave to me after my nephew's christening. I would not expect to get a gift as a God parent but the frame was a nice gesture.

  • We never get anything for godparents on the Christening day, but get them something at Christmas
