Did you (will you?) make your yearly goal?

My goal was 100 books, and I finished #98 during lunchtime.  I really doubt I'll finish 2 more by midnight.

  • 79/75, so I did hit my goal about a month ago, which is good because Dec was a slow month for me.

That's because you're crazy addicted to TVD.

Not that it's a bad thing at all.  ;)

  • Congrats to all who hit their goals!!

I hit mine in Oct (I think) of 200 books. I hope to do the same next year, but we shall see.

  • I didn't but I got pretty close- 171 toward my goal of 175.  I will be trying for 175 again nest year.

  • Yes just barely. I had to read 40 books in Nov. & December but I made my goal of 112 on saturday!

I wish I was as motivated with my other goals like weight loss haha

  • My goal was 100 but I didn't get anywhere close. My situation and reading habits were a lot different when the year started. Bleh. I'll probably go with 50 this coming year.

  • Yep, 53/40. I finished a couple months ago.

  • Not even close. I set my goal at 200 and am ending up with 176, or possibly 177 depending on whether I finish another book tonight--definitely doable, just not sure whether it will happen. Next year I'm going for 113--I doubt I can break 150 again.

  • My original goal was 50 which I met. I was hoping to read 65, but I just finished #63 today. I was just so busy this month and only read 3 books. My goal is 75 for next year, I think!

  • Yep!  I'm finishing the year with 171/150 books.  I doubt I'll read so many next year, so I'm psyched that I read a lot in 2012.  Smile
  • I need to read 1 more, and I don't think it's going to happen in the next 3.5 hours. Bummer.

  • I hit my goal exactly.  I probably would have been one or two books over had I not FINALLY started watching Doctor Who, lol.  I set myself another 100-book goal for 2013.

  • I did! A few weeks ago actually.

Did you know the average American reads 4 books a year?  I just keep thinking how many people must read ZERO for us to balance out that average.  Its crazy!

  • Nope. My goal was 150 and I only hit 115. I've only read a couple books since fall. Prior to that I was about 15 books ahead of goal so I thought I would easily make it. Unfortunately, 2nd and 3rd tri have been much harder on me than 1st was, and that greatly impacted my reading :( Hoping to make my goal next year! I still think 115 books is good for a year, especially since I didn't start keeping track until valentine's day so it was really only 10 1/2 months :)
