Fitness/ Exercise Group

I would love to start eating healthier and exercising more but don't want to do it on my own. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in starting a group so that we can sort of hold each other accountable and give encouragement and tips. I was thinking we could all maybe do the same workout (Insanity, P90x, Jillian Michaels) and share healthy recipes while we track our progress. It would be cool if we could start it around the first of November. Any takers? Suggestions?

  • I posted below about doing an insanity challenge group. I'm a beachbody coach and am looking for people to get involved - maybe even with a prize :) I'm posting my success story now - but I'd LOVE a workout group :)
  • That would be great! I have tried exercising on my own but I usually give up after a week or so. I'm hoping that this will help keep me motivated.

I already own Insanity (thanks to my fitness-freak husband lol).  I DEFINITELY need the motivation to eat right and actually do the workouts I plan out =p  I've got an obnoxiously large sweet tooth so it's so hard to stay away from it but I'm up for a challenge!  I'm looking to loose the 20 pounds I gained back after coming home from IET for the army lol

  • Hey! I thought of the same thing so a friend and I started a facebook group just for that! It's grown and become so much fun to help each other on our journey's if anyone is interested you all can check us out, we're on facebook. We're called MFP Group Challenges. The way we run the group is Monday is motivational day: we post different thing to help us all stay on track, tips and tricks or so etching like that, we have a tip of the day posting, Tuesday is educational day, Wednesday check in time, Friday is just fun get to know you questions. We share recipes we make or find. Motivational day sing get posted, before and after. We do weekly challenges too, they alternate between food and workout and easily be added in to any activity. We don't make challenges mandatory or anything. So love to see some of you there. I did a brazil butt lift challenge and a Jillian micheals, now working on Chalean Extreme with another member! It does help doing it together! :)
  • Join fitness group that would be the great idea and in fitness group we can do question and answer about health and wellness. This types of group help us to maintain our health.
