Marine Corp. Birthday Ball

Hi,

My husband is out of the Corp.  But i was wondering if anyone knew of Birthday celebrations in Maryland that are open to retired / separated Veterans. Since the Birthday is on a Sat. I thought it would be fun to be able to celebrate even if we are no longer Active Duty.  Thanks.

  • It's Marine Corps. [image]

My suggestion would be to call up your local VFW or American Legion and ask them. They're a wealth of knowledge, and if someone is hosting a ball, I bet someone at one of them will know it. It wouldn't surprise me if Baltimore or somewhere had one. Big cities with large retiree pops (like near Annapolis) often do.

I've seen a lot of military surprise homecomings. It wouldn't work on me. I always have my back to the corner and my face to the door. Looking for terrorists, criminals, various other threats, and husbands.

Also, check to see if there is a local Marine Corps League.  It's like the Legion but only for Marines.  Our local League usually has a ball but it isn't as "fancy" as the regular birthday balls.
