Calling French speakers - help with translation of two words please

I'm mostly a lurker on this board but I need some help understanding an email that I just received from a colleague/friend in Quebec that starts...

"Petite cachotiere"  (sorry, I can't figure out how to do accents on here.)  What is "cachotiere"?  Obviously it's some term of endearment, but what does it mean?

and his very last line is confusing me --

"...je pense que je vis te faire part ?ventuellement te contacter pour en discuter"  Is the "vis" a typo and he means "vais."  I'm taking this to mean that he's going to contact me to discuss it. Otherwise, I don't understand the word "vis" in this context.

 Thanks for your help!
