Re: roasting/toasting pumpkin seeds recipe?

  • I don't really follow a recipe. I just spray on some pam (or you can use some olive oil to lightly coat them) and sprinkle on lawry's season salt and a little garlic powder. I toast them in the oven at about 350 until they turn golden.
  • Thanks! I don't have season salt - is there anything I can use instead? Regular salt?

  • Regular salt is good too...that's what we always used growing up.

  • Thanks, I used regular salt and garlic powder. THEN I realized I DO have seasoning salt so I sprinkled some on. They might be a bit salty but hey, at least I tried! :)

  • I'd go with salt, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Spicy!
  • I spray with oil and sprinkle with salt.  roast on a cookie sheet at about 250 until golden.  Stir occasionally.
