Good Morning INs!

Morning Everyone!

Things here are good - we are getting geared up for a long weekend here in Japan. DH and I are planning on visiting Yokohama for the first time tomorrow, and then doing some hiking with friends on Sunday.  I'm hoping that Monday will just be for relaxing ;)

What are your plans for the weekend?

Re: Good Morning INs!

  • Good morning!

I am glad tdown that you get to enjoy your DH for a long weekend!  We aren't up to too much this weekend, I am catching up with a friend on Saturday and we have a birthday lunch to attend on Sunday.

    Have a great day.

  • Good morning!

We're already heading into weekend here. DH and I are having a Halloween-inspired scary movie night tonight, and will just be hanging out, relaxing and watching more movies tomorrow. On Sunday I'm taking him for a surprise trip on Puffing Billy, a narrow rail steam train through the Dandenong Range (mountains and temperate rainforest). I've been dying to see more of the area, so can't wait!

  • Good Morning!

We don't have classes on Fridays so a friend and I are taking the train out to Kutna Hora, a town about an hour away that i known for having a church from the middle ages that is decorated with the bones of about 40,000 human skeletons. ?

  • Good morning and Happy Halloween!  Devil
  • Happy Halloween!  We're going trick or treating tonight.  Tomorrow we're going to the Anne Frank House and getting tacos for lunch.  Sunday we're just going to relax.
  • Good Morning!

We are doing a whole lot of nothing this weekend.  Can't wait, actually.

    Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!

Creepy!... but I guess fitting for the day.

?I'm hoping to carve a pumpkin tonight - it's getting a bit late for that so I don't know if we'll find one.

We're going to our molecular cooking course tomorrow. I can't wait! ?

  • Good morning!  A friend is coming over tonight with her little one and we may get a few trick-or-treaters.

    Happy Halloween!

  • Good morning! And Happy Halloween.  We are having some friends over to carve pumpkins tonight and then we are going to check out the stores. I guess they are all open late tonight and have big sales. I'm excited to see if any kids dress up.  If they do the stores are handing out candy.

Tomorrow we are having our Halloween house warming party. Sunday we are cleaning and packing/ getting ready to drive to Holland.

  • Happy Halloween!

    ?

Nothing special planned for this weekend, but it sounds like you all are up to exciting stuff!?

  • Good morning! I want to visit Tokyo~ dh said that may be my surprise for birthday... I sure hope so.

We are going shopping for Christmas decor (YAY) and some winter sweaters for dh!

Human skeletons? Whoa... that would be a bit frightening to me. Tongue Tied

  • Good Morning!!!  I am in a much better mood after talking to my old boss today about the layoff.  We picked out the tile yesterday for our floors and the bathroom walls since the samples came in from the US.

This weekend I am hoping to go for a run since my foot is starting to feel better finally.  Tonight just meeting some of DH's co-workers for some drinks then home.  Tomorrow nothing planned yet which is kind of nice!  I might check out this Estate Auction near me.  sunday we are going to see the new Bond movie

  • I have off school today for 'report writing', which means I'll finish grading a few things and then write my first quarter comments.  Saturday I have a game and then we're finally going to see the second door for a possible kitchen (we'll make a choice then).  Sunday will be a day to organize some of our stuff, try to find a few winter things (like my jacket...brrrrr).  So nothing too exciting.

  • Good Morning! I am waiting for 11am to chat to my mom, its our last proper chat until December, as they have moved house and the telephone company has problems with telephone lines to the area they have moved to, they are suppose to be fixing that in December, so I am kind of bummed about that. Until then it will be quick phone calls on her mobile. After that we are going to the Bournemouth Gardens where they are having halloween fun for the kids. http://www.bournemouth.co.uk/xxl/_lang/en/_site/pleasure/_area/home/_subArea/670550/_articleId/1056477/index.html

  • Am feeling better about my redundancy as well this morning. I dreamt that I became a Spanish drug runner last night though and had to ditch a quarter of a pound of grass in an airport toilet after a flight. I have no idea how I supposedly got on the flight.

Anyway, after a pretty nightmarish week, I think I will carve a pumpkin, hope some nice village children will visit and get loads of candy and make some pumpkin soup.

  • Well, it was going to be quiet but now that DH's cousin arrived we'll try and do something fun like a trip into town or the movies or dinner on Sat and Sun. I'm glad she'll be around to help me give out sweets tonight as DH is playing football. I'm also meeting a friend today and another on Sat or Sun. I have a bit of scheduling to do lol.
