How to launder dress shirts?

I have a few white French cuff and barrel cuff dress shirts.  The wrists get dirty just through dragging them over typical surfaces through normal wear.  I usually have to pre-treat them with both color-safe bleach and shampoo (a household trick I saw on the Web) and wash twice to make sure they're really white.  The stains aren't organic because I don't get ring around the collar.

The trouble is, I think the bleach may be turning the cuffs slightly yellow.  That's exactly what I don't want, because it looks dingy!  Any laundry tips to keep the cuffs white and still address the stains?  Thanks.
