Carpet Cleaning

I just got new carpet in half of my house (thanks to water leak). Well, now since having the new I'm worried the carpet in the remaining 3 rooms of my house is going to look dingy. I heard that shampooing your carpet with cascade works wonders! Any truth to it? Has anyone tried it?

Re: Carpet Cleaning

  • Cascade on any material may bleach it. I've always used it on my whites in the washer.

I would suggest renting a Rug Doctor for a day and shampooing the carpets. They're not too expensive & work great!

  • Right before my wedding we got our carpets professionally cleaned. They looked *almost* brand new. We didn't pay very much because a family friend cleans carpets and got us a great deal.?
  • Thank you for the advice.. I def. have a huge weekend project ahead of me
