Blurg. I have a sore spot on my leg.
My left leg is sore on the inner calf almost where posterior shin splints occur. It has been a little sore off and on for a week but nothing that kept me from running. I was putting my shoes on to run on Wednesday, and I felt kind of a jolt like and electrical shock in my ankle and up through my calf in that sore spot. I ran anyway and was super sore yesterday. I feel so guilty about taking a few days off. I should have put in 6 miles in a tempo yesterday and 3 easy miles today followed by 11 on Sunday. I think I'm going to skip everything until Sunday and see if I can get the 11 miles in. Tell me not to panic. For the record, it feels much better today and is only slightly sore.
