My Son is a MONSTER!

I really don't know what happened, up til' 2 weeks ago I had the sweetest boy ever.  Now he is Monster, especially after DC days.  He will BBEEEGGGG for a banana, I will give it to him, he'll take a bite and throw it and then throw himself on the ground.  Sometimes he gets so mad he will hit the floor or door or what ever has hard as he can and then cry cause he hurt his hand.

Today is his second bday.  I want my sweet little man back!

Re: My Son is a MONSTER!

  • Sounds like the terrible two's have begun!

I've heard that around 4 they get better and revert from monster behavior. I really really hope that is true.

  • My son will be 2 at the end of October and he is the exact same way!!  Nothing I do makes him happy!  And also on the days I send him to his "school", he acts horrible!  It is making me question if sending him is best!  He hits and screams and basically is just a terrible 2 year old! I want my sweet little boy back too!  To make it worse, I will say give mama a kiss and he screams no and runs away Crying I thought I had a few years before that started happening! Oh well, guess it is just part of them being "independant"!  Happy Birthday to your little Monster!!

YES, YES, YES all the way.  I have him in "school" 3 days a week to get ready for me to go back to work.  If its this bad w/o the stress of work I'm doomed when I go back.  ugh.  You're right though, all just part of the process.

  • Poor little guy. He's gotten to the age where he is starting to know what he wants and feel strong emotions, but he can't figure out how to express these things. His verbal skills haven't caught up yet and won't for awhile. It's a very frustrating time for him and for you. Hang in there!
