I have a swiffer broom from several years ago when I thought they were the greatest thing ever. It didn't take me long to realize how wasteful they are and stop using it. Anyway, we just got a new bed and I cannot get the vacuum to fit under it. I know that I would be able to get the swiffer under there, and actually I think I would definitely prefer to "swiffer sweep" our wood floors anyway. Is there some kind of re-usable/washable cloth that I can get that will pick up the dust/cat hair/everything else? I don't think a regular dry towel will do the trick.
Thanks ladies!

PP's suggestion sounds good, and you can also find a variety of tutorials of how to make reusable covers; using one of them, with microfiber might replicate the swiffer pads. Here are a couple.

We have one of these and we love it.
Before, we were DIYing it with microfibers on the Swiffer, and it was such a pain trying to prevent the friction from causing the Swiffer head to flip up when using it wet (it was no problem dry, but it always felt like it was scratching the floor with the kitty litter, so we prefer to sweep with a traditional broom).
