30 Day Shred...?

Who's done it and what were your results? I own it, but never actually started it. I'm planning on starting it monday along with a diet I've been following for about a week already. Which consists of not eating more than 25 grams of sugar per day, except saturdays where I'm allowing myself something sweet as incentive each week. : ) Wish me luck.

  • I did it last year as cross training on days I didn't run.  I definitely got more toned!  It's nice because it's not too time-consuming, but it's a good workout.

  • My cousin and I did it before my wedding. We didn't finish because I got REALLY sick and was stuck in the hospital for a while, then we just didn't start back for some reason. I may do it again!

    We cussed out Jillian the whole time. It made it so much better. Smile

  • LOVE it!! I have most of her DVDs and I switch them out (and running) just to keep my routine exciting. I've lost 10 lbs this year just from doing this.. no gym membership! My arms and abs are tone tone tone. You can def get the results that you want from her, just keep up with it!

  • I did it about 3x a week (on top of running) for about a year and totally toned up.  I eventually got bored with it and stopped but I should really start doing it again.

    June 2010 - HSG, u/s & b/w all normal; SA - counts normal, low morphology

    Dec.2010 - 100 mg Clomid + Novarel + TI = BFN

    Jan.2011 - 150 mg Clomid + Novarel + IUI = BFN

    Feb.2011 - 150 mg Clomid + Pregnyl + IUI = BFN

    Aug.2011 - Laparoscopy - mild endo and blocked left tube

    Oct.2011 - Follistim + Pregnyl + IUI = BFP!!

  • Yesterday was Day 30 for me. I lost somewhere between 5-7 lbs and a few inches. I haven't taken my final weight and measurement since we had company today but took a few after pics. They are too dark but I can definitely see the change. My back fat is gone. So exciting. I tried (like 5 minutes) Yoga Meltdown today and it's just not for me. I like the 3-2-1 concept and like to know what's coming.

    Congrats on finishing it! Did it seem to tone up your lower back at all? That's my problem area. ugh.. and those yucky things called love handles! I hate yoga too so don't feel bad.. haha

  • Just another thought... my personal favorite feature is that you can turn off Jillian's narration and just have the music.  After you've done the level once or twice you don't need her telling you what to do anyway, and it makes it much more pleasant!

    Yes! I really do feel more fit overall. I did real push ups tonight! I don't think I've ever done them before this workout.
