Does anyone use skins (or similar products?)

(The recovery commpression wear such as http://www.skins.net/en-AU/index.aspx)

I've always thought they were for those more serious about their activities/sport but I see more and more people wear them. Was I correct in my original assumption or can they help those of us who exercise at a lower intensity recover quicker as well?

  • I have Zensah brand compression sleeves for my calves and I'm a big fan.

I don't know if they have proven results, but they feel really great and I do think they help my legs feel fresh sooner.  I primarily use them after 8+ mile runs--I don't know if I'd fork out the money for them if I was just doing low-impact exercise, though.

See I only run for 30 min at a time, but I've noticed the trend with hikers lately and I'm not sure if it's due to them aiding in recovery or becuase it's getting cooler and it's the only thing they have that keeps them warm.
