Are Girl Scout cookies worth fighting over? You bet! A Thin Mint cookie brawl led to an arrest of a woman in Florida. Hersha Howard, 31, was charged in Collier County with aggravated assault and battery with a deadly weapon. According to the county sheriff's report, she allegedly burst in on her roommates and began arguing over the Girl Scout cookies with one Jasmine Wanke. Howard allegedly accused Wanke of eating the cookies herself, but Wanke argued back that she had given the cookies to Howard's children, whom had awakened at 1am due to hunger.
The argument went from ugly to violent when Howard allegedly jumped on Wanke. The brawled and at one point, Howard had allegedly grabbed a pair of scissors to attack Wanke with. Wanke's husband had intervened during the initial brawl, separating the two women. According to the sheriff's report, this was when Howard grabbed the scissors and began chasing Wanke with them.
As the women went outside the dwelling, Howard dropped the scissors, then is alleged to have found another another weapon, a wooden board, which she allegedly used to strike Wanke with. At some point during all of this, the sheriff's report also notes that Howard had allegedly taken a bite at one of Wanke's breasts while delivering multiple blows about Wanke's face and body.
