Hmm..make cookies or workout?

Urgh..I know I should work out as soon as I put the kids to bed, but I also want to make eggnog cookies. This is why I never plan my workouts for the evening. I'm tired and I usually find an excuse not to.

  • LOL! I hear ya! I am actually cringing waiting for DH to realize how late it's getting. Cold + Rainy = Increased chances for my laziness. :) (Although I know in the end I'll go to the gym with him....)

    Hopefully you find motivation for working out AND cookies - They sound yum!

    And to the OP, do both! While you're making cookies do some squat jumps, floating lunges, etc.  ;)

  • My personal choice last night was cookies!  Only, they were only mediocre, so I sent them to work with my H.  Tonight, workout!

  • Would you think I'm really good if I told you that last night I did a workout (40 minutes on the bicycle trainer) AND made made-from-scratch chocolate chip cookies AND made-from-scratch brownies?  (along with some soup)  And that I didn't get home until 6:30pm?  Unfortunately I did get to bed a little later than normal--10:15 instead of my usual 10pm. Every once in awhile I get into the zone....

    It's just funny to me that so many of us baked last night!  I guess great minds....I was making the baked goods for my parents anniversary though, so the baking was time sensitive.  Party!!!
