what's your favorite part of the thanksgiving meal?

I love sweet potatoes- with marshmellows and pecan pieces

Re: what's your favorite part of the thanksgiving meal?

  • mashed potatoes with gravy. I actually make them as a side dish almost every week bc Dh and I love them that much.

  • Such a hard choice, but probably the mashed potatoes.

My actual favorite is the turkey sandwich later or the next day- I love it with white bread, turkey, some mayo and cranberries.

  • I also love mashed potatoes with gravy, as well as the green bean casserole....

and the after dinner sandwich, and day after sandwiches are delicious!!!! mmm.. I put cranberry and stuffing on my sandwich along with the turkey!

  • Mashed potatoes or the deep fried turkey.  Unfortunately we aren't having the deep fried turkey this year since my aunt is making the turkey and not my father.
  • Stuffing. It's my uncle's from-scratch recipe and it is the best stuffing I have ever had.  Though I usually eat my meal with a forkful of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce all in one. Sadly, we aren't having dinner with my parents this year so I have no idea what the menu is.
  • Sweet potato casserole!
  • Mine is turkey with gravy and stuffing!  Specifically my mom's homemade stuffing!

  • My Mom's stuffing!!!
  • Definitely the green bean casserole! My MIL didn't make it and I had really been missing it the past few years so I decided to start bringing it.
  • Definitely the stuffing.  I love my MILs homemade.
