Can I be a squeamish girl for a min??

I will quickly find my BGP and deal with this, but for just a few mins, I need be squeamish....

We came home from dinner last night to find our cat standing guard/prowling in the guest bath, a room she never even goes into normally. We look for a critter or bug she might have chased, but don't find anything, so we try to talk her out of the room. She keeps returning to the edge of the bath tub and staring at the walls. So I sit in there with her for a few mins, and it wasn't long before I heard something CLAWING at the underside of the the bathtub. Soon, it was more than one something, clawing and climbing all over the inside of the walls and under the bathtub.

DH and I checked outside near the foundation and didn't find anything obvious, but this base is notorious for ground squirrels or some other kind of ground rodent, and we have always had a ton of holes, new and abandoned in the back yard. Maintenance will be over tomorrow to take a look and see what they can do about it, but I'm not looking forward to another day/night of listening to soemthing clawing and gnawing their way through my walls!!! ::shudder::

Maybe we will get lucky and the trick-or-treaters will scare them away.
