Friday health/diet/fitness check-in

Anyone have anything to report? 

I was really bad yesterday - stocking candy for Halloween parties this weekend and ate too many pieces. 

But I'm trying to do more fruits and veggies in my meals.  I'm planning on making healthy sweet potato muffins for the weekend.  I've been working out every morning since Tuesday.

  • I've been doing a good job exercising this week. ?But I've been eating way too much! ?Halloween candy isn't helping :) ?I'd like to think the running would counter-act the eating, but that's definitely not the case this week. ?

    Sweet potato muffins sound delicious - will you post the recipe if they turn out to be good?

  • I had a really crazy week and didn't work out much. Hopefully life will calm down a bit soon.

  • I did some quick yoga stretches and walked to work everyday except friday, when I had to take the car to run some errands at lunchtime.

    Plus I was more aware of my intake of fruit and vege.  It is so hard to eat 5 a day sometimes!

  • Terrible week for me.  I've just been so busy that I've had to eat on the run a lot, so it's been grabbing the fastest thing out of the fridge and running out of the house to the next thing.  And tonight's not going to help.  DH and I are making caramel apples and carving pumpkins!  Going to be fun, but not good for my tummy...
  • Ugh... total off week for me... was traveling and am making chocolate fondue with friends tonight!

    DH diagnosed with Testicular Cancer 8/2010
    Low sperm count. Only option IVF with ICSI
    Starting First cycle Jan/Feb 2012- Canceled due to not responding to BCP and/or Lupron
    IVF 1.2- stims March 14, ER March 24, 16 R 10F 6 made it to blast
    ET March 29- transferred two blasts, 4A and 4BA, froze 4
    Positive HPT 9dp5dt Beta 1- 385 11dp5dt
    u/s April 25- one healthy heartbeat
    EDD 12/12/12




  • Bad week for me too - I ate pretty well, but only got one workout in...
