dnar** re: wing dip

warning: this is addicting and delicious, enjoy!

2-3 chicken breasts cooked and shredded (some used canned chicken but it freaks me out)

2 blocks of cream cheese

1 cup of hot sauce

1 cup of ranch dressing (or blue cheese if you prefer but I can't vouch for it)

1 bag of shredded cheddar

Tostito scoops for dipping

I usually boil the chicken the night before to make it easier, then shred once cool. In a square baking dish, layer two packs of cream cheese. let it sit out a few minutes then just squash it down with a fork. put chicken on top, then ranch then hot sauce, spread it around so its even. top with cheese and bake for about 30 minutes or until top bubbles.

so good!

  • I had this once at a party, and it was super yummy.  So I made it for a party I was having it and it was blah.  Followed the directions to a T, but I didn't like it.
  • I make this all. the. time. for parties.  However, I definitely use blue cheese dressing and I also use mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar.  It's delicious.  I am very lazy and usually buy a rotisserie chicken from the super market and pick/shred the meat instead of poaching chicken breasts.

  • I love dips like these. We were at a Halloween party last Saturday and I was so embarrassed because I pretty much ate 1/2 of the bowl of buffalo chicken dip. So good. I'll have to try this recipe, too. Thanks!
  • Thanks!

I am excited to try it out!

  • I freaking love this dip.  I made it last weekend for the Phils game, and DH and I had the leftovers for dinner on Monday.  To make it a healthy dinner, I compensated with veggies and hummus as a side dish - also leftover.  We are a mess.
