Husbands in the delivery room

Re: Husbands in the delivery room

  • Yeah, they wouldn't remove it until like 2 weeks later when the draining was all cleared up.

I just googled and Dr. Barbot is now with Penn Surgery in Wyndmoor

  • The Dude had a cyst on his shoulder blaid that got infected and the hospital drained it but it needed to be drained a few times a day for about two weeks. We were only dating for like 2 months but I did this for him cause it was actually kinda cool.

Had it been on his ass, he would have been on his own.

I will check her out probably this spring/ summer after the trauma have birth has washed over me.  this excellent to hear someone else had a positive removal.

and for the record p and i were like two months away from marriage so he knew i had the cyst on my ass to begin with.

  • Anyone ever see the You Tube video "2 girls 1 cyst"? I didn't make it through the entire video. I ran to the bathroom and threw up. DH thought it was hilarious. I thought it was gross.

Ok, ass cysts are freaking me out more than anything related to labor.

I think we are over DH seeing anything that will freak him out.  Five or six dates with the dildo cam, plus being present for two internals, and the mystery is gone.

    Wait, what?

An internal ultrasound.  In the very beginning I got those every week, since we were with a reproductive endocrinologist.  It gives you a better view than an actual on the tummy ultrasound, which wouldn't really show anything at that point.

They are not standard issue at all -- just if you are seeing a specialist for some reason.

Ah, it's pregnancy related.  When I first read it, I seriously thought it had something to do when you first started dating! Ha!

  • I had a disastrous csection, so he started holding my hand, and then he went to standing on tiptoes to see over the drape.

He wishes he hadn't done that. :)
