Maternity Leave

Hello,

I'm mainly on thebump, but the Toronto Board is just as slow there, so I thought I would post here too.

I take my leave in a couple weeks, and I can't recall how much pay I will be getting.  Is it 55 or 65% of my regular pay

Thanks.

Re: Maternity Leave

  • The basic benefit rate is 55% of your average insured earnings up to a yearly maximum insurable amount of $43,200 (but this is still subject to taxes).

Here's a link to the Service Canada site for more info:

  • CBLCBL member
Also , fyi, the max is $804 every second week after taxes
  • Ditto on the pp's
