Hersheypark in the Dark?

Hello everyone!

DH and I are from DE and we're thinking about heading up to Hershey for Hersheypark in the Dark this coming weekend (weather permitting).  I was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what it might be like.  Super crowded and, therefore, not worth it?  Or super awesome?  Any thoughts or experiences you could share would be appreciated!

Re: Hersheypark in the Dark?

  • Hello,

I don't think it's usually crowded!  Its fun and nice to walk around and ride the rides when it's not crowded and not super hot outside.  Is it for you and him or do you have children?

  • That's good news!  I went to 6 Flags in NJ once during the fall and was only able to ride 2 rides the whole day because it was so insanely crowded!

It's just the 2 of us.  No kids yet.

  • I've gone a few times in the past few years. It's pretty fun. Not terribly crowded but def more kids there than adults (they have trick or treat stations for them) and more kid rides open than the big rides. Don't forget to stop by chocolate world for your free chocolate :o)

  • Thanks again for the responses!  We went on Saturday and it was AWESOME!  Only the water rides were closed and we never really ride them anyway.  The weather was wonderful and I'm pretty sure that we've decided to never go during the summer again, haha!
