Kitchen Sink Smell

Walked in the house and noticed this awful smell in the kitchen.  I believe it is coming from my kitchen sink.  I have smelled everywhere in the kitchen!  What can I do to get rid of it?  I don't have any vinegar at home.  I put some baking soda and let it sit and then ran hot water and then I put some Mr. Clean moping liquid down the drain.  Any other ideas?

Thanks

Re: Kitchen Sink Smell

  • Is there anything down your drain?  Every now DS1 drops a toy down there while playing in the sink), I'll feel little bits of food that didn't wash away.  If it's clean, you can grind up an orange (or lemon) to freshen it, if it's a temporary smell that should take care of it.

  • I was going to suggest baking soda because I've heard that works.
