Dessert recipes?

We're going to DH's grandparents tomorrow and I offered to bring a dessert for dinner...we'll be outside on a lake...any suggestions of something quick, summer-y and yummy?

TIA!

    Sixth Anniversary

I seriously cringed when I heard what this was, but it's soooo good!  Love it for summer.

(The pretzels need to be the salted ones though, and the tiny match stick ones work best for crushing... it doesn't note that.)  It's creamy, fruity, salty-sweet, tangy, crunchy goodness.

I would also recommend mini lemon meringues or cherry tarts, cheesecake in cupcake form, carrot cake cupcakes, fruit salad with cannoli cream, berry mint sorbet... allrecipes.com is an excellent source, or try Giada on the food network website.  She always has fresh and fun desserts for summer.  :)  GL!

  • Key Lime Mousse Cake

Cold, Summery and you don't have to do anything but mix it together...

Here is the recipe in my FB notes: http://www.facebook.com/schirmang678?v=app_2347471856#!/note.php?note_id=141593160570

This is a must have dish at family gatherings.  We have also made it with raspberry jello and it's extremely tasty...if not better than the strawberry.
