anyone else love to yard sale??

This weekend is the second weekend of Yard Sale mecca's!  MH says to me, "why do we need more junk when we're packing up are current junk"...  Men -  they just don't understand.  I think he secretly likes to go but razzes me about it.  He was sold when he found a Roger Clemens rookie baseball card for $1.Big Smile

  • I think it would be fun, but I've never done it before. We call them junk sales around here. LOL!

  • Have fun! Anything I've ever bought from a yard sale has ended up not being used so I don't go anymore. Once we build a bigger place I'll probably hit them up trying to find unique peices etc though
  • I love them (and estate sales), but I'm trying to stay away until we get some basic house stuff done!

  • first off, I was just banned for posted until such and such a time for an "other" reason. Anyone ever get this? Weird.

As for yard sales, I love them but I never seem to have cash. And since I spend most my weekends with Matt and he usually drives, he tends to speed up going past them so I can't make him stop. But I love finding old furniture or cookware (friend bought a very deep cast iron pan for $10 at one). But you really have to look. Most sales just have cheap, tacky stuff.

  • I hate them actually.
