Just got back from the movies

I saw Nightmare on Elm St. It was good, nothing groundbreaking. I thought Freddy looked more realistic then he has looked in the previous movies. Overall though I'm still a fan of the older movies.

  • The orignals are so much better than the sequels (three-quels, quad-quels, etc)!

I think the worst one out of them all is Nightmare on Elm St. #3 - Dream Warriors. It's not even scary and the video they made for the movie is laughable.

  • So are you into any of those M. Knight Shamalayan (sp?) movies?

I can't watch horror movies; my imagination/subconscious goes into overdrive and I end up having nightmares.

I'm not really a fan of Shamalayan's movies. My favorite horror movie is "Hellraiser" directed by Clive Barker.

  • Huh, I never saw the previews for that.

DH and I went over to my parents to watch Sherlock Holmes.  Could. Not. Stay. Awake.   I hate when I do that when I really want to see a movie.  My mom was sleeping too, LOL
