Re: anyone have a breech baby?

  • my old boss had a breech she tried acupuncture to get the baby to move but it was to close to her due date and Z just hung out breech, she had a csection to deliver.
  • they aim to have them in "position" by 35 weeks...i have also heard a good chiropractor can do stuff too...hey anything beats a c-section, right?

  • Z was also almost a ten pound babies the doctors right up until they delivered him thought he was 6 pounds. granted my old boss is like 6 foot.
  • According to my ob at my appointment on Tuesday, they won't even check position until 36 weeks.

I actually have no idea what way the baby is resting.  She is not up in my ribs, but she's always stayed pretty low.  She rolls around constantly...so I'm not too concerned either way yet.

Hopefully she will turn for you!

  • OUCH :(  that makes me wan to cry!  7lb 13 oz didn't feel to good...10?  OY!

  • This baby is still on my ribs.  I didn't think it mattered this early.

Anna, stop stressing out so much!!!!!Smile

  • Anna,

You live in Bucks right?  If so, go see my chiro- he is AWESOME and depending on your insurance he can throw in some massage therapy as part of your treatment and not charge you...  Dr Roberts - in the Village Shire shopping center in Holland (next to dunkin donuts and ritas).   If you go, tell him Kim Rock sent you :)

  • Dr. Izzo on Castor @ Lansing (same side as McDonald's).
  • Are you talking about a version?  My bff had one and it worked - the baby flipped.

I fear chiropractors and would never go to one, especially for this

i am twinsy on this, chiropractors scare the crap out of me.

  • They used to scare the crap out of me until I went to this one.  I don't let him do much of the cracking twisting table dropping stuff on me (it still freaks me the heck out).. Mostly just massage therapy by his 2 female massage therapists or heat therapy  :)
  • i live in the ne...i actually have a great chiro in cc (i am really into the hard core cracking and stuff)  i did it my whole preg w/ keira.  but, he recently got rid of his tables and ditched that old technique for new "modern" stuff (massage, shock therapy, etc)...if teh baby is still not cooperating in a few weeks i an going to call him...there's nothing better to me than a "good cracking"...LOVE IT :)

  • My mom delivered my sister butt-first, vaginally. Imagine that. They couldn't straighten her out for hours to measure how long she was.

    ::Grabs crotch in horror:: Cripes!

Also, I have nothing further to add to this other than I keep reading this thread title as, "Anyone have a BEACH baby?" over. and over. and over.
