  • Yeah, if I were in your shoes, Son wouldn't be getting his DS back until he's 21.

If that were my kid, I would totally beat him all over with a bag of oranges and then ground him for a month.

  • Ground him?  Fvck that.

TV gone.... DS gone.... PS3 gone.... Breathing gone....

  • So sorry. I am soooo glad I don't have children.
  • What a little sh!t.

I'd like to thank you for letting her actually know what had happened and not enabling him - some parents are beyond ridiculous when it comes to these kinds of things.

Why don't you have a kid again? Thinking up creative discipline is part of the fun.

  • Did y'all hear that? It was my fallopian tubes knotting themselves. My sis sometimes calls to tell me the trouble her DS is in. She has those "What possessed him?" moments.

    Bless your heart.

  • I prefer torture.  Like leaving the DS in his room with his DS but no games... Or the TV there but with no cord... you get my drift.

I know.  If I ever have kids they will fear ME more than they fear the police.  Because I can come up with some pretty creative punishments.

I've already told MH that if we ever procreate, our child will not have a TV, computer etc in their room.  You get grounded, you go to your room and read a damn book.

  • I missed it but the thread reminded me of a conversation mh and I had a couple weeks ago.

You know that Verizon commercial where the father tricks the kids into shoveling snow by telling them that if they do it, they'll be able to use the free plan?  "Looks cold out there.  I wouldn't want to be out there now."  I told mh that I thought he was brilliant.  MH said that he could envision me doing just that to kids if we had any.

I've never felt more loved.  :o)

I LOVE that commercial.  That's something that I would do to my kids.

Hell, my grandmother and I used to tell my brother that the Gypsies left him under a rock in our backyard.  We found him out there one day and just kept him.
