can't sleep :(

I lay in bed from 9pm-1am tossing and turning. DH came to bed and stole all the covers so I finally got up. Then I was hungry so I scrounged around for some food and ended up with a toaster strudel. Now I'm flipping channels. Roseanne looks the most promising. SIGH. I just want to sleeeeeeeeeeep!!

Re: can't sleep :(

  • Not to sound mean but get used to it, it only gets worse as pregnancy moves on. Good news is it prepares you for when they are here.

  • You ladies are not helping!! lol.

I think I need to invest in a body pillow. I have always slept on my stomach, but now it's just not comfortable (more for my boobs than the belly though), and my arms fall asleep if I sleep on my stomach. Crazy that something the size of my pinky finger can cause so many changes!!

  • Oh gosh, I hope it gets better.  If it helps, I go through stages.  There will be a week when sleep alludes me and then 3 weeks when I can't get enough - esp. when I was about as far along as you.   I'm hoping the same goes for you!

I will say though that my current night goes something like this.  CRASH, wake an hour later, pee, flip to other slide, sleep, hour and a half later wake, pee, flip to original side, two hours later pee, flip..... and you get the drill.  I think I saw 9:30, 11:45, 2:00 and 4:15 on the clock last night.  Sometimes I lose count ::sigh::
