Do you have any great Tofu recipes to share? I'n trying to put more into my diet. I am not going vegan, just mostly vegetarian, but ultimately trying to eat better foods overall.

TIA!

  • Yes I do!  I really like to take half a package of firm tofu and mash it up really well, then add a tablespoon of Veganaise (vegan mayo), soy sauce to taste, a teaspoon of paprika, some salt, and some finely chopped onion.  It tastes like egg salad!  I have several others that I will post tonight when I get home and have my cookbook.
  • OMG I LOVE egg salad...I am SO trying this! Thanks!
  • Butting in here *blush* best tofu recipe EVER.  And hey, its made with tofu so it can't be bad, right?

  • You can confirm this? Because I have tried chocolate pies made by other vegetarians before and I must be uber picky about my desserts....because I couldn't eat them. (And I eat damn near anything chocolate.)

Oh...and I saw the comment of the woman who made it with a nut crust for gluten free....that looks fabulous!

I wonder how the nutritional content is....

I can.  I've made it three times, for three different groups, some of which are major chocolate lovers and very discriminating.  All loved it.  :)
