I just read your confession - I think it is a coping mechanism with the new baby.  My DH did something similar.  He all of a sudden decided that he needed all of these online credits that HAD to be completed right away (mind you in the 4 years we've been together this was the only time he too online classes for work during non-work hours).  I was really angry and frustrated at the time, but in hindsight I think he was keeping himself busy because he was overwhelmed by the baby.

Re: doggylvr

  • yeah I am sure that is why, its just hard for me because I have the baby all day and would like to hand him off for a bit when i get home...dont get me wrong DH helps but he helps by putting DS in a bouncer or swing, and I wish he would interact with him more like I do during the day.  I try not to criticize because he gets plenty of interaction (tummy time, bumbo chair, books etc) with me during the day but I just want this stupid project finished!!!

    hopefully it gets better
