April Trip Help

DH and I would like to take a trip April 5th-9th (It's M-F).  We would prefer to go somewhere we don't need a passport (don't have one!). We currently live in NC and want to go somewhere warm (further south/west coast/Puerto Rico).  We are on a pretty tight budget.  Anything AI is of course preferred.  Where would you go?  Any website suggestions?

We have no kids, and have virtually travelled no where, but DH has been to Jamaica in the past.  We are open to pretty much everything.

ETA: We are ok with a road trip too.

Re: April Trip Help

  • the only AIs i know of on islands that you don't need a passport for is st thomas.  PR only has one I believe and from what ive heard on here it's nothing great.

why only AI though? if you're that limited to places you dont 't need a passport for try PR. stay in a less expensive place and eat at local restaurants. they're SO inexpensive and so good.

why not just get passports? they're good for 10 years and you can go anywhere. you have plenty of time to get them for april.
