winter boots

do you own snow boots

I have none and and am having the hardest time finding some. I just ordered some fuggs because I needed something but I don't think they are water proof.

Re: winter boots

  • I got a pair of water proof snowboots from Target a few years back.
    LilySlim Weight loss tickers
  • i have crappers from target.

my sil has grey hunter boots - more rain than snow but they are amazing and i covet.

  • I do not, I need to get some.  I was waring my uggs during the last bit of snow we got.  Go to famous foot wear and get the srapy to water proof them.  it really works.

oh okay I didn't know u could do this, sounds good

Is Famous Footwear the one next to Old Navy on Del ave?

  • I don't but I think I'm going to order a pair from Columbia, they have cute ones...sort of. I wouldn't use the Uggs for snow/rain boots. I waterproofed mine and while they stay dry, the weather ruins them.

  • you can get liners for hunters that make them super warm.  i have a few pair from random places.  i would look on campmor.com and see if they have some waterproof hikers.  then you can layer socks to get your optimal level of warm.

    yes.

But I definitely wouldn't use them as your primary snow boots.  Also check out Barefeet on del ave, a little further down, they had cute boots in there last winter.  Also check Famous too.

  • i realized last week that I do not own a pair. Being that we are heading to the mountains next month, I do need to invest in some. There is a pair of sporto ones that I am on the hunt for, none available online in my size. There is also a pair of ugg snowboots I looooove but they are pricey. too pricey considering they wont be worn often.

My friend did pick up a pair at payless last week and they were really cute. check there and maybe target. and i am so glad you posted this because it just reminded me that my boys need snow pants. i am slacking this year

This is what I'm doing. I also have a pair of LL Bean duct boots that are great. My only problem is that when I bought them I didn't realize they were a men's 8, so they are big, but functional.

  • DH got a nice pair of Eastlands - high and lined at a sneaker store (Foot Locker mebbe?)  I should have checked out the women's.

I have Eastlands that are great but they're only ankle high.

Yeah that's right my name's Yauch!
  • I got these at DSW (but in brown). They might not be the pretties things on earth but they are super comfy, warm, and best yet..waterproof!
