bleeding = problem? UGH

Do you ever feel like you have some newly-to-be-discovered disease/syndrome?

I was diagnosed with PCOS after very long, annovulatory cycles.  Sucks, but glad to know what I''m dealing with.  Prior to last doctor's visit for an internal ultrasound on cd10, I had been (browninsh) bleeding/spotting for 32 days (cd3 progesterone levels were completely normal).  Things have been going well, but I woke up with sharp cramps today & discovered I started spotting/bleeding (brownish) again.  Seriously?!  I haven't had sex in a few days so no idea what this is.

I feel like once I get one answer, 5 more questions pop up.

  • Nope; I'll add that to the list.  I mentioned it to my obgyn the prior cycle, but we did the cd3 progesterone bloodwork & cd10 internal this time.  My ovaries look like textbook pcos but uterus looks great.

    Granted, I'm only going back to school to get my BSN, but I think unexpected spotting out of an orifice might be cause for concern.

  • I have PCOS.. and thats the one thing I hated was my long periods. I would get her for 3-4 months straight than not get her for 2-3 months. Hopefully they get you back to normal.
